Tales of the Black Piper: an illustrated book cover
This brief had it all! Fantasy battles, alien space ships and medieval culture clashes. I was commissioned by author Michael Bahnmiller to make an illustrated book cover. He has an upcoming anthology, Tales of the Black Piper. Which is a SFF series of short stories that Michael is putting together alongside other authors. This is actually the square audiobook cover, which I think Michael wants to consider as an option once all the authors have finished editing their work. I do love an audiobook. I have been a member of audible for a long while now, and binge books like crazy when I’m on the move!
What is SFF?
SFF is an abbreviation for science fiction and fantasy. This genre combines elements of both popular genres. Many popular fantasy and sci-fi titles could arguably be SFF, for example star wars, which has high technology and alien species mixed with sword and sorcery essentially, although it generally falls into the sci-fi category.
