Board game artwork
I work on tabletop games to provide board game art and design, box art, card art, illustrated game boards, and more. I have also been the meeple designer for MeepleSource for the past few years.
I also work on graphic design like rulebook layout, and box layout and all print deliverables.
Mark Cooke, Bright Eye Games
“A pleasure to work with. Jamie is attentive, quick to respond and produces high quality work with great turnaround times. Would definitely recommend and will be working with him again in the future for sure.”
Chris Colston, Cubicle 7
“Jamie is a consummate professional in his approach to artwork -Clear and concise communication at early stages of projects and the ability to take and amend their work based on feedback from both project managers and license holders is fantastic and the final works have all been highly regarded in the TTRPG community. Would recommend to anyone looking for a competent and passionate artist on fantasy or sci-fi projects…“

Tabletop Gaming Magazine
I’m also featured in Tabletop Gaming magazine in several articles. I was asked, as a familiar face in the industry, to write a love letter to my favourite board game. I did it in my usual tongue in cheek way, and it was very popular.
Tabletop Gaming also interviewed me about my career as a freelance board game artist, and I gave tips and pointers on how to work with game designers and publishers.
I am pleased to have had the opportunity to work on the runaway success Gloomhaven (Artwork currently under NDA).
I have provided artwork for the fantasy tabletop game, Thunderstone Quest.
I was the sole artist for the launch and subsequent expansions for the now sprawling dungeon crawler, Perdition’s Mouth.
I designed, illustrated and published my own board game, ‘Hero Master – An Epic Game of Epic Fails’.
I am regular artist on the Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40,000 RPGs.
I am pleased to have worked with many games over the years, but these are some of the wonderful games companies I’ve worked with in the past decade.
A board game artist with deeper knowledge
Self publishing my own game, Hero Master – An Epic Game of Epic Fails, gave me a deeper insight into the state of crowdfunding, preparing and publishing games today. Since the production of Hero Master, I have consistently helped new publishers by sharing my experiences with them as they make their own journey through games.
If you need some more detail about what I do, or would like to discuss a brief, I’m always happy to help.
