New fantasy book cover: The Talisman of Delucha
If you missed the first fantasy book cover I did for AJ Calvin, make sure to go back and check it out after you’ve read this. I’ve now had the go-ahead to show off cover 2/3 of the Relics of War trilogy by AJ Calvin! So excited to get this out into the wild!
I love working with AJ. We generally start with a long skype call, just chatting about the setting, the characters, cultures and lands. She really has a strong handle on her setting, and that makes worldbuilding with her all the more meaningful. Because of this, you won’t see a huge difference between sketches and final piece here. I’ve attached the sketches below. It makes working with AJ easy, as we seem to be able to ‘mind-meld’ on the covers. One more cover to show off after this one, I can’t wait til I get the go ahead to show you! Make sure to follow AJ Calvin on Twitter!
