More Warhammer 40k Art

Warhammer 40K Art for the roleplay game

More contract work from my favourite universe!

In the last update about my freelance work doing Warhammer 40k Art for Games Workshop’s IP, I talked pretty excitedly about getting the gig. As time moves on I’m able to show off a few more bits of work that I’ve done for Cubicle 7, who have the Warhammer licenses for their roleplay games.

Warhammer 40k art of Adeptus Mechanicus tech priest, Ministorum Priest, Administratum Adept. Official artwork for Cubicle 7 by The Noble Artist

The illustration

This piece is also for the Litanies of the Lost module for the Warhammer 40,000 RPG. I had a brief to illustrate two characters engaged in a heated argument, one a  Senior Ministorum Priest of the Ecclesiarchy and a Senior Tech-Adept of the Adeptus Mechanicus.

In the middle the robed Administratum Adept first class, tries to calm the situation pretty uneffectively!

Being able to illustrate these iconic characters is one of the best feelings in my career. It’s so exciting to receive a brief and work with the team at Cubicle 7 and the Games Workshop art department to ensure everything remains on point for the lore of the crazy deep universe that is Warhammer.

I’m pleased with how this turns out. I don’t often do things without a background, but this really makes the characters punch out at the viewer. I’m pleased with this one, you might be able to tell…

A bit about me, the illustrator:

I’m Jamie, I am an illustrator, graphic designer, business owner and fantasy geek. I live and work in Sussex, UK.

I love working on fiction book covers and games in the broad genre I like to call “Escapism”… I’m particularly a massive fantasy fan, but love sci-fi and horror too. I’ve been working professionally on video games, books and board games since 2010 and even published my own successful board game: Hero Master: An Epic Game of Epic Fails back in 2018.

I achieved my lifelong dream of regularly working on illustration for the Warhammer 40k IP in 2021, and can’t wait for the next challenge to arise. Shout me if you need me, you can fill in a few details to get the ball rolling, but following the link below.

  1. Totally awestruck by the quality of your art work Jamie and thought I would drop you a line to say kudos. I also live in Sussex and have written two novels, published by Amazon a few years back, in the fantasy genre and wish I’d known you before brining out the paperbacks too. I am going to pass your name and portfolio to an American friend as I know he is looking for someone to illustrate his book about a Bee with a Quest. I am in no doubt you could come up with some brilliant artwork for that….if not, at least you will meet (virtually) one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met online….he contacted me here in linked towards the end of last year and I’ve been helping him edit his book Legacy.
