Steampunk cover art

steampunk cover art for a steampunk novel by Chloe Taton. Artwork by The Noble Artist. Airship with cogs and victorian vibes

Brand new steampunk cover art

It’s exciting to reveal this new steampunk cover art piece. I don’t often get the opportunity to work in the fantasy/science fiction genre, steampunk. If you’re new to this corner of the internet… Steampunk is a kind of pseudo-Victorian aesthetic. With a combination of industrial revolution, and Victorian clothing, with more fantastic mechanised elements.

I was asked to incorporate the practical, yet elegant Victorian clothing for the female character. For the male, a more roguish appearance. The major steampunk draw is the airship they are travelling in, way above the city. Airships are synonymous with the Steampunk genre, so it was a must and features heavily in the book!

Share the love!

I love my job. I’ve always wanted to be an artist working on fantasy settings, creating worlds that give people real escapism and suspend their disbelief. One of the things I absolutely love though, is the interaction with people who are following along with what I’m doing. Hearing comments, and seeing my work make it’s way around the world makes me so happy! So please go ahead, share my posts with people you think would like them, it really helps me to continue to do what I do.
