Sci fi character art for the Aetherial War series
I wanted to show off some sci fi character art pieces I did for author and game designer Nathan Doverspike for his Aetherial War setting. I worked on these last year but never posted them on my blog! A big mistake on my part because I absolutely love them.
There’s something about working black and white I love. Sometimes the absence of colour can add to the sense of drama and atmosphere. Strong contrasts between the lights and darks can really make these guys pop! The simple compositions were fun to make these guys really stand out too.
