Hi I’m Jamie!
I’m a DnD artist with over 15 years of experience working in the fantasy illustration industry. I’ve been working on a new series of pieces for an upcoming series of adventures for Arch Mage Press.
I’ve shown off some of the covers I’ve worked on for the series already, but these are some of the interior black and white illustrations I’ve worked on for the adventures.
City streets scene
I love designing monsters and character for the vast and varied worlds of Dungeons and Dragons, but it’s super exciting as a DnD artist to get the opportunity to illustrate a city scene.
The wonky architecture and smoky streets give me the fantasy feels, so working on this was a dream come true. I love the tightly packed terraces and laundry hanging across the alleyways. It says to me, a place of skulduggery and danger. I love the familiarity of it. I can’t pinpoint the exact piece that this has been influenced by, but it’s definitely a connection of fantasy tropes I’ve got buried in the recesses of my mind.
The Dragon on the Monolith
What else as a DnD artist would I bite your hand off to illustrate? A dragon of course… It is Dungeons and DRAGONS after all!
This was really awesome to do, This giant beast staring down on you from this ruined monument among the steaming marshes.
If you’re looking for a fantasy artist, feel free to snoop through my illustration portfolio or head straight over to contact me for work. You’ll find my email address and some handy forms which guide you through some of the starting info I’ll need to be able to quote for you. Typically I’m booked up a month ahead of time, but do drop me a line if you have anything time sensitive. Sometimes I’m able to move things around in a pinch. Hope to hear from you! In the meantime, stay informed of my new work and availability and sign up for the mailing list.
