Fabled Games commission for pirate board game art

I’ve been loving the work I’ve been getting from Fabled Games. If you haven’t seen the bits of pirate board game art I’ve shown so far… I’ve added a gallery below…

If you know me, you’ll know that characters and creatures are probably my favourite things to do. But… this was pretty tough to beat. Designing your own pirate island! This will function as the board for the game, Back O’ Beyond. But I wanted to show it off prior to it getting all the icons added etc. It was a real blast to work on.

Adding some life through animation

I decided to animate this piece as I thought it would make a nice bit of marketing material for Fabled Games. It’s a bit of a night and day cycle with some rolling waves and seagulls. Suitably piratey!

Share the love!

I love my job. I’ve always wanted to be an artist working on fantasy settings, creating worlds that give people real escapism and suspend their disbelief. One of the things I love is the interaction with people who are following my work. Hearing comments, and seeing my work make it’s way around the world makes me so happy! So please go ahead, share my posts with people you think would like them. It really helps me to continue to do what I do.
