Fantasy illustration of key scene
I was commissioned to provide a couple of dramatic pieces for dark fantasy author Dave Reed. This was the first piece I worked on for him. It’s a pretty harrowing scene where an angel is blinded in the book by a no-nonsense heroin. I was pleased to have the opportunity to create a key scene from the book.
This was commissioned via an agency I work for. So I haven’t actually had the pleasure of meeting Dave. I do love the look of his setting though. I’d love to dig in deeper! You can find the other piece I did for Dave here.

I love my job. I’ve always wanted to be an artist working on fantasy settings, creating worlds that give people real escapism and suspend their disbelief.
