Commissioned work on fantasy comic, Baby Barbarian
I was commissioned by long term creative friend, Bill Gosline to work on his fantasy comic.
Bill Gosline is an author and a creative entrepreneur. He’s the mind behind Baby Barbarian, a family friendly, fantasy comic about a young Barbarian’s coming of age and the colourful characters of the world of Shenanigania.
I’ve known Bill for years, and in my early days as an artist, we connected on a friendly supportive level. It’s taken us this long to work together! I’m pleased to have been commissioned to provide the map for the setting of Baby Barbarian. It’s very different to the usual style of maps I do, and was a blast to work on.
I loved drawing all the landmarks, from the upside down colossus to the worst outhouse in Coldfast! Bill is planning on getting fans to help name some of them!
Baby Barbarian enjoyed success on its Kickstarter Campaign, and Bill and his team have loads more planned for the feisty family of the Coldfast Mountains!

Share the love!
I love my job. I’ve always wanted to be an artist working on fantasy settings, creating world that give people real escapism and suspend their disbelief. One of the things I absolutely love though, is the interaction with people who are following along with what I’m doing. Hearing comments, and seeing my work make it’s way around the world makes me so happy!
