Dungeons and Dragons art for a new DnD module
I wanted to show some of the new Dungeons and Dragons art work I’ve done for an upcoming DnD module by Arch Mage Press. I have been commissioned to illustrate a number of books, including colour front covers and interior black and white pieces.
Hydra art
This is one of the book cover pieces I did for the series. A classic monster from both Dungeons and Dragons and also classic mythology. Who doesn’t want to draw a dragon… getting to draw seven in one is even better!
I decided to make a short video of the process. So those who enjoy my work can get an idea of how I work. I often record myself working, but this time I just saved pictures of some of the stages and put them together.
If you’re looking for a fantasy artist, feel free to snoop through my illustration portfolio or head straight over to contact me for work. You’ll find my email address and some handy forms which guide you through some of the starting info I’ll need to be able to quote for you. Typically I’m booked up a month ahead of time, but do drop me a line if you have anything time sensitive. Sometimes I’m able to move things around in a pinch. Hope to hear from you! In the meantime, stay informed of my new work and availability and sign up for the mailing list.

Below I’ve placed the final piece side by side with a video that shows the various sketch stages a piece goes through before it’s finally complete.
Share the love!
I love my job. I’ve always wanted to be an artist working on fantasy settings, creating worlds that give people real escapism and suspend their disbelief. One of the things I love is the interaction with people who are following my work. Hearing comments, and seeing my work make it’s way around the world makes me so happy! So please go ahead, share my posts with people you think would like them. It really helps me to continue to do what I do.
