Obsession meeple art
I was commissioned by Meeplesource to create a range of meeple art which represents characters of a similar period drama vibe as popular tv drama, Downton Abbey. The Obsession game draws heavily with a loving homage to the genre and show, so there were plenty of great references to use!
What’s a meeple?
I’ve been working providing board game meeple design for Meeplesource for several years now. Over that time I’ve designed countless meeples for their store. To the uninitiated, ‘meeples’ are playing pieces used in board games that represent player’s characters or resources during a game. Often games will simplify these to a very basic level. Meeplesource offers a premium alternative. Got a favourite game? Why not add some more interesting pieces?

I love my job. I’ve always wanted to be an artist working on fantasy settings, creating worlds that give people real escapism and suspend their disbelief.
