Zombie pirates
I love meeting new authors, learning about their amazing new settings and getting to bring those to life with illustrations and maps. Working with George Allen Miller was a real treat as he wanted all of those things! Above is the cover, with a busy “easter egg” vibe, where we tried to cram loads of little nuanced elements into the piece.
This was the map of the setting, it was tricky to establish a floating lake above the actual map itself, but Dressa Moore in the North Eastern area is that lake.
And finally, my favourite of all the pieces, the Zombie pirates. Sailing across the floating lake of Dressa Moore.
