Akihiro, fantasy warrior concept art for Legendary Kingdoms

Akihiro is the fifth piece of fantasy warrior concept art I’ve done for Legendary Kingdoms so far. If you’re late to the party, make sure to check out, Brash, TashaJessica and Amelia.

“Akihiro is a brooding young man from the Valley of Bones, who was banished from his city.” He’s a superb swordsman, but struggles with his inner failures…

This is why I love working on this series, the characters are all three dimensional, awesome people, with spiralling interwoven stories. It makes illustrating them all the more fun.

I’m enjoying working on characters from different cultures too, not only working on my skin tones, but also the fabrics and poses you might find synonymous with different regions in a fantasy setting based loosely on our world.
