Fantasy cover art with a twist

A quirky piece of fantasy cover art

I was commissioned by Sean Myers to create the fantasy cover art for his humorous fantasy novel, but this concept had a twist. The cover features the heroes within a frame, sort of breaking the fourth wall, by popping out of the frame into a mundane looking reality with grey concrete walls contrasting their bright, beautiful fantasy environment.

Fantasy art cover by The Noble Artist, for the fantasy novel, Flight of Fools by Sean Myers. Image shows a wizard, a rogue and a warrior on an adventure. All set within an ornate picture frame.

Share the love!

I love my job. I’ve always wanted to be an artist working on fantasy settings, creating worlds that give people real escapism and suspend their disbelief. One of the things I absolutely love though, is the interaction with people who are following along with what I’m doing. Hearing comments, and seeing my work make it’s way around the world makes me so happy! So please go ahead, share my posts with people you think would like them, it really helps me to continue to do what I do.
