A video trailer for a fantasy series of books

A video trailer for the epic fantasy series by Anthony Wedgeworth

I’ve written about working with author, Anthony Wedgeworth a few times on this blog. I’ve worked with his awesome anti-hero ass-kicking character Santorray (a half dragon beefcake who has beef with almost everyone, and probably is too mean to enjoy cake…) for a good few years now. But what’s this…? A video trailer for a fantasy series?

Anthony is an absolute hero at getting his work out to his audience, he’s a regular convention exhibitor and always is showing off his incredible writing talent. This video has added a whole new area of exposure for the series.

Anthony commissioned me to create a video trailer that will be used on both social media and American TV. I enlisted the help of regular video editor collaborator Andy Jarvis of Creative License to help me create the video, and I’m so pleased with the outcome.

I love my job. I’ve always wanted to be an artist working on fantasy settings, creating world that give people real escapism and suspend their disbelief. One of the things I absolutely love though, is the interaction with people who are following along with what I’m doing. Hearing comments, and seeing my work make it’s way around the world makes me so happy!
