TTRPG Art for Cubicle 7’s The Laundry

Folks who’ve followed my work for a while may well have seen the TTRPG art I have done for Warhammer Fantasy and 40K roleplay. Both games are from publisher, Cubicle 7. I love my Warhammer work, so much so… I’ve started painting miniatures again when I get a spare minute… I know… I know… it’s sort of a bus-man’s holiday… Doing art in your spare time?! Yes…

Well, C7 have a load more IPs in their arsenal. One of which is The Laundry… A supernatural agency that goes unseen, protecting us from all manner of spooks and out-of-this-world whatsits. I got to do a bunch of images for The Laundry, and got the ok to show ’em off! So here goes!

What is The Laundry TTRPG?

From Cubicle 7:

You’re one of the unlucky few standing between humanity and unspeakable – often unpronounceable – supernatural, alien, and interdimensional threats.

You’re a spy. Well, you are now, at least. Previously, you were someone who learned things humanity was not meant to know. Namely, that magic is real, it exists in the higher realms of mathematics, and it has some really messed-up devotees. And if you know that much, then you’re not left with much of a choice — you work for the Laundry now.

Are tabletop roleplay games getting more attention?

Tabletop RPGs have absolutely exploded in popularity lately, and it’s no surprise why. People are realising how brilliant it is to sit round a table (or a Discord call), roll some dice, and dive into a story together. It’s a proper escape from the day-to-day — a chance to be a hero, a menace, or whatever weird character you fancy. Plus, with actual-play shows everywhere and loads of new systems popping up, it’s easier than ever to jump in. Whether you’re battling dragons or just causing chaos in a tavern, TTRPGs have become the go-to way to chill out, be creative, and have a laugh with mates.

I wrote a blog about it you can read here.
