The World of Tim Burton
Yesterday I took a trip up to London, “The Big Smoke” as we call it, to check out the Tim Burton Exhibition at The Design Museum in Kensington.
What a treat! Three rooms of Tim Burton’s incredible sketch work, parts of sets, costumes, and models from his amazing catalogue of films.

The Nightmare Before Christmas
One of my favourites (and Oogie Boogie being one of my favourite characters!), this was a real delight to see! The models were incredible. These were the models that were posed fort the stop motion and were bigger than I expected, and I found out that Jack Skellington had 400 heads to make the animation!
Corpse Bride
Another great film with wonderful characters. I love the chunky models! So exciting to see!
Beetlejuice, Batman and Mars Attacks!

As you can see, there was so much to see here. Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman outfit! Some great Sleepy Hollow costumes too (not pictured). A Mars attacks area, which I loved. A film I’m definitely going to watch again. Also I realised I’ve never seen Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. It looked super freaky!
Hi I’m Jamie!
I work on fantasy and sci-fi maps for various clients from authors to game publishers. I have had some great clients working on both established IPs and new settings. I’m always interested in hearing about more projects I might be needed on, so feel free to drop me an email to info@thenobleartist.com

If you’re looking for a fantasy artist, feel free to snoop through my illustration portfolio or head straight over to contact me for work. You’ll find my email address and some handy forms which guide you through some of the starting info I’ll need to be able to quote for you. Typically I’m booked up a month ahead of time, but do drop me a line if you have anything time sensitive. Sometimes I’m able to move things around in a pinch. Hope to hear from you! In the meantime, stay informed of my new work and availability and sign up for the mailing list.
